The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a state of the art, exceptionally clean facility by implementing improvements and ensuring that all maintenance work is completed throughout the facility. He or she ensures the grounds, buildings, and equipment are kept in a safe condition following established procedures and that a successful, viable maintenance program is sustained at all times. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance procedures, repairs, and housekeeping and performs designated preventative and routine maintenance/repair duties throughout the facility, including the exterior grounds.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (with further technical coursework preferred) and/or one year of related experience/training (or equivalent combination of education and experience). In addition, he or she must have a general mechanical aptitude, experience with the use of hand tools and other general maintenance equipment, and be willing to work a flexible schedule (including on-call).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
