POSITION
Summary:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and indirectly to the President of Corporation, the SAM - new sales will be responsible for both sales of existing products and
services
to existing customers and to a greater degree, develops new customers by identifying their needs;
engineering
adaptations of present (company) products and services.
This position involves all aspects of new order activity from initial industry applications thru to potential customer base, initial customer contact and development, quoting, technical assistance, prospecting, follow up, order entry, monitoring and communicating order and/or shipment status checks as well as any additional tasks required to assure quick and prompt response to the customer's needs.
The position requires a high level of professionalism, drive and competency coupled with product knowledge including all skills necessary for effective professional communication to the customer as well as representing the customer's requirements to the appropriate departments. Travel will also be required as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
