We're actively seeking a talented Lead Workflow Developer to join our team.
This role can be on-site, hybrid, or remote.
As a Lead Workflow Developer within the Pacific Life Technology team, this person will have the opportunity to lead a team of developers who support Pacific Life's Underwriting and New Business workflow systems.
How you will make an impact:
Work in a lead capacity focused on perform development for new and existing products that support underwriting and new business Perform workflow development and testing/debugging, peer review changes made by other team members and act as an internal system expert for your colleagues Work with the production support and devops teams to sustain and improve system stability and performance, as well as implementing automation Proactively evaluate and recommend workflow strategies and potential approaches to find solutions that best address business needs Lead workflow development initiatives that improve and expand existing framework, including upgrades of existing programs Partner with IT and functional areas to develop simple, effective, and innovative solutions to simplify the workflow processes Create detailed technical specifications and architecture documentation, along with development and operational procedures Provide guidance and expertise to junior staff on methodology, workflow implementation, and testing/debugging to support performance workflow initiatives The experience you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, information technology, or related field 5
years' experience coding and designing in Java, Linux, Oracle DB, SQL Server, Websphere, J2EE, and related frameworks Proven ability to work in and lead in a team environment Experience working in an Agile team environment Self-starter with ability to develop solutions by collaborating with multiple business partners Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills? Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting.
The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$93,240.
00 - $113,960.
