This is a temporary contract assignment.
BWXT is looking for an experienced and energetic contract recruiter (Independent Contractor status) to join our HR dream team!Position
Responsibilities:
Collaborates daily with hiring managers and local HR team to understand assigned division's hiring needs.
Drives hiring process from Requisition posting strategy though candidate selection.
This is not a full-cycle position.
Utilizes a variety of sourcing tools to discover and communicate with candidates and build high quality candidate pools for assigned positions.
Participates and contributes to a variety of meetings focused on the division's hiring objectives, including but not limited to, plan of the week, local requisition reviews and division led hiring teams.
Executes and shares best sourcing practices with BWXT talent team and local leadership.
Works with local HR team to ensure all staffing processes for the division are handled in a collaborative, compliant, highly effective and cost-efficient manner.
Promotes trust to operate under minimal supervision with significant latitude for independent action.
Works within division and company established policies and procedures.
Promotes diversity and inclusive recruiting in all actions.
Effectively manages Req and candidate actions in BWXT's ATS.
Updates ATS as required for consistent data accuracy and runs local reports as scheduled and/or requested.
Demonstrates creativity and innovation daily.
Develops and works with local HR and hiring managers to implement action plans for filling critical positions.
Strives for first time quality in all hiring activities and demonstrate a winning attitude by approaching challenges with confidence and optimism.
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, leaders and peers.
Completes sourcing trackers as requested/required.
Identifies and participate in local/national job fairs.
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree plus (2) years of recruiting experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of (6) years of recruiting experience.
Experience should include prior work sourcing passive candidates through database platforms like Monster, Google, LinkedIn and other social media tools.
Ability and willingness to be part of cross-functional teams and collaborative efforts.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be able to demonstrate engaging and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

citizen with no dual citizenship.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Human Resources and/or Business is preferred.
Prior experience working for a third-party recruiting firm supporting manufacturing.
Prior experience with niche recruiting in the areas of skilled trades and engineering.
Prior experience using SAP Success Factors recruiting module.
Ability to report to the assigned work location every day.
This is a temporary contract assignment (Independent Contractor status).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
