, is seeking a Quality Control Dimensional Inspector to join our team in Lynchburg, VA.
Job Description/Duties:
Performs any/all types of in-process and final inspections on any/all products and component parts.
Inspects, accepts or rejects all products and components, fabricated or in process.
Uses any and all types of precision measuring instruments including but not limited to measurement standards, gauges, and computerized inspection equipment.
Works from blue prints, contract specifications, written and verbal instructions, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
Should meet one (1) of the following requirements:
Graduation from the Machine Tool & Quality Program at Central Virginia Community College.
Graduation from Dimensional Inspection Program at Danville Community College.
Graduation from the Danville Community College Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program.
Graduation from other similarly qualified dimensional inspection program.
Enrollment in one of the above listed programs.
Program must be completed by June 2023 5 years of manufacturing inspection experience or a combination of experience and advanced education.
Military Service equivalent in pay grade E-6 or above with Navy Enlisted Classifications (NEC) as a Calibration Technician or service specific equivalent.
Verification of Military Experience and Training (VMET, DD Form 2586) and Job Qualification Requirement (JQR) documentation required when uploading resume.
Manufacturing Technician Level 1 Certification (MT1) preferred.
Ability to pass qualification examination (if required) in selected areas is required.
Must obtain Workkeys score required for specific job.
Must be able to wear composite toe safety shoes.
Pass eye test for vision and color blindness.
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
