IT Development Office Manager
The Office Manager will ensure IT, Finance and HR policies and procedures are followed while maintaining a business unit customer service-centered environment.
This person also assists Information Services (IS)' leadership on daily basis.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities1.
Document and maintain office operations, procedures, and filing systems and assisting assigned department(s)' staff with record retention and proper paperwork.
2.
Reconcile some department purchases.
3.
Organize personnel actions for department including interviews and new hire procedures.
4.
Benefit and timecard approvals.
5.
IS conference room owner- responsible for assisting employees with any questions.
6.
Provide reports as requested by Directors.
7.
Attend meetings, provide updates, and record notes.
8.
Plan and execute employee appreciation You Matter events.
9.
Complete various tasks, audits, and follow ups as needed or assigned.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies1.
Associates degree or equivalent from a college or technical school with course work in office management or business administration, preferred.
2.
Work experience in higher education and/or management.
3.
Exceptional writing, organizational and communication skills.
4.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Recommended Skills Auditing Business Administration Communication Microsoft Office Office Management Retention Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
