LUCOM Admissions/Student Services-Student Worker

The Admissions/Student Services student worker will assist with the operation of the Admissions and Student Services area.
This position will be responsible for general data processing and customer service related to LUCOM applicants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Assist with data processing.
2.
Monitor system updates and provide administrative support by inputting and/or verifying basic data elements.
3.
Provide customer service calls (Care Calls) to applicants as they work through the admissions pipeline.
4.
Assist with operational logistics and services including tours, interview days, open house days etc5.
Other duties as requested.

graduate or GEDAbility to work outside of normal business hours.

Maybe required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies to include, but not limited to pens, pencils, calculators, computer keyboards, telephone, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONSWork EnvironmentThe working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting.
It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate.
Driving RequirementsMay be required to transport oneself to other campus offices, conference rooms, and on occasion, to off-campus sites to attend meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
