In the role of Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls from policyholders and their representatives that have questions regarding an existing Long Term Care policy and handle inquiries on rate actions.
You are the voice of Genworth, responsible for delivering excellent customer service, operating in a culture centered around teamwork and collaboration.
You will be in a front line, customer interactive position, expected to provide timely and accurate information directly to customers as well as process transactions to meet the customers' needs.
In addition, you are expected to meet or exceed individual and team phone service metrics, to engage with the business in personal and professional development, and to collaborate effectively with peers in a team atmosphere.
You'll use the training you receive to help both our customers and their families navigate their decision to combat the financial challenges of aging.
What You Will Be Doing Service Long Term Care Customer Service and Rate Action customer inquiries via incoming phone calls and at times, may be responsible for outgoing calls; Many of these calls may be escalated and be more intricate in nature Promptly and accurately process transactions to meet the customers' needs to include address changes, stop payments, rate action quotes, follow-up letters, faxes, and other general correspondence, etc.
Initiate daily contact with our internal and external customers, working to simplify and explain complexities of our products & processes Diffuse escalated situations through ownership of effectively analyzing, partnering, and resolving complex customer related issues Provide outstanding service delivery through effective communication with our customers on the telephone and via written correspondence Demonstrate consistent ownership and initiative in call follow-up, documentation, & work item management Maintain accurate produce & process knowledge as well as staying abreast of regulatory updates Review, analyze and process written requests and documents as required Update and ensure integrity of customer accounts including history Educate customers about their products features as well as self-service functionality via the IVR and web Perform at or above individual quality, productivity and timeliness standards set by the business Show flexibility with ability to handle increase seasonal volume, change in work schedules that meet our customers' needs, and process changes that meet our business needs Must Have/What You Bring You will spend the first several weeks of employment in virtual classroom training before beginning to phase into your job responsibilities.
You will need to be on camera and actively participate in this training and must successfully complete all training requirements.
High school diploma or military experience At least one year customer service experience At least one year office experience, working with calls Ability to work scheduled hours between 8:
30 AM - 6:
00 PM EST.

Experience in using Microsoft Office applications (e.
g.
